INVITATION TO WPD’S ANNUAL STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP (WITH LUNCH) – FEBRUARY 2019
HELP US BUILD OUR NEXT BUSINESS PLAN
By discussing: FUTURE INVESTMENT PRIORITIES; DELIVERING A SMART ELECTRICITY NETWORK; AND OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AS A BUSINESS
The way the UK sources and consumes energy is fundamentally changing as it looks to meet climate change targets and take advantage of technological innovation. As your electricity network operator, we need to plan for and deliver a smart network that is flexible and responsive at a time of rapid change – while also maintaining reliability. We are keen to ensure our plans best reflect the needs of our customers, discussing topics ranging from supporting vulnerable customers during emergencies, through to facilitating the widespread uptake of electric vehicles.
To achieve this, we are beginning to develop our next Business Plan (RIIO-ED2), which starts in 2023. These workshops will launch our RIIO-ED2 engagement programme, seeking your feedback at the start of this journey as we look to identify our future investment priorities and plan our smart network, while being a responsible business that delivers for our customers.
