Details :
The Power Station is served by two reservoirs on Dartmoor, receiving water from the River Tavy. The water powers three Pelton wheel tubines (650kW) from a 560ft head ann three Francis turbines (230kW) froma 230ft head. The power produced is fed into the local 11,000 volt network. The plant is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
