GreenPower was established in 2000 and is an independent developer of UK hydropower and wind projects. It has 260MW of consented renewable energy projects and a further 500 MW in development. GreenPower's business model is to develop, contruct and operate hydro and wind projects. GreenPower develops projects in its own right but is also experienced at working in joint ventures with both commerical entities and landowners. It currently has a particular focus on Feed-in-Tarrif projects through its innovative GreenPower-Share scheme which gives landowners a share of ownership of projects on their land.

GreenPower has a staff of more than 20 and offers a complete service for development of projects.
