D A MacDonald (Contractors) Ltd is a family run civil engineering company with around 50 employees, a large modern fleet of plant, equipment and heavy goods vehicles, which are operated and maintained by ourselves. We have successfully carried out contracts for private clients, local authorities, utility companies and as subcontractors for major national construction companies. 

We have been involved in Hydro Construction since 1988 and since 2004 have built 7 Hydro Schemes as principle contractor.

Our Health, Safety and Environmental record is excellent and we have been registered and approved by Constructionline since June 2001 and Achilles Verify since 2006.
