Extending enforcement undertakings to flood risk activities in the Environmental Permitting framework

Email notification from Defra

In July this year I circulated the attached letter regarding an amendment to the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2016 to extend enforcement undertakings to flood risk activities in England only.

In my letter I explained that this would come into force in December. However we now expect that the legislation will be debated in Parliament and will come into force early in the New Year.

If you have any queries please let me know.

Kind regards

Carol Tidmarsh
