BHA Annual Conference 2019 – Conference Presentations

Evidence from around the world shows that, despite the changing power landscape, hydropower continues to be one of the most sustainable energy generation technologies and is with us for the long haul. It has to be – it plays a critical part in the UK energy mix. Celebrating the importance and benefits of harnessing the power of hydropower through a high-quality and stimulating conference programme, this two-day event featured 30 presentations from many of the leading hydro experts and practitioners.

Running in parallel to the speaker programme, our lively technical exhibition showcased the expertise and innovation of 20 companies over the two days.

Our Conference Dinner at the beautiful Oran Mor on the evening of the 13th November incorporated an exciting Charity Auction in aid of the National Rural Mental Health Forum. The evening provided a terrific opportunity for all delegates to network and relax with colleagues and friends whilst raising £1,510 for an important cause. Our thanks go to all who took part and congratulations to the successful bidders.

Special thanks go to our Conference Sponsor:
